Adonal Foyle

Adonal David Foyle (born March 9, 1975 in Canouan, St. Vincent and the Grenadines) is a Vincentian-American professional basketball player currently playing for the NBA's Orlando Magic. He was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 8th overall selection of the 1997 NBA Draft and played with the team during his entire ten-year pro career, until August 13, 2007, when his contract was bought out. He was the Warriors' longest-tenured player.

Foyle's 492 blocked shots at Colgate broke the mark of 453 set by Alonzo Mourning at Georgetown...He was named Third Team All-America by The Associated Press and Second Team All-America by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association following his junior year, when his 180 blocked shots was the second-highest single season total in NCAA history...A two-time winner of the Patriot League Player of the Year Award and a First Team GE/CoSIDA Academic All-America as a junior, he ranks as Colgate's all-time leading rebounder (1,103) and second all-time scorer (1,776 points)...In three seasons he averaged 20.4 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.66 blocks per game. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors. He made the playoffs.
