Alex Acker

Alex Acker (born January 21, 1983 in Compton, California) is an American professional basketball player currently playing for AXA F.C. Barcelona of the ACB League (Spanish 1st division).

Acker attended Pepperdine University and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the last pick in the second round (60th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. He was assigned to the NBA Development League's Fayetteville Patriots on February 27, 2006.

Acker played the 2006-07 season in Greece With Olympiacos and started the season well, but his performance declined as the season progressed. He was released from the team in July 2007 (replaced by Qyntel Woods) and currently is playing in Spain for AXA F.C. Barcelona.
