Alison Bales

Alison Bales (born on April 4, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is an American Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player who plays for the Indiana Fever. After living in Indianapolis for 5 years her family moved to Beavercreek, Ohio and she played high school basketball for Beavercreek High School.

At 6' 7" she played center for Duke University and later became the all-time shot block leader at Duke and third all-time in NCAA history. On her birthday she was drafted #9 overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2007 WNBA Draft. Although she seen very little playing time during her rookie season she became one of the fan's favorites at Conseco Fieldhouse.
