Anaheim Convention Center Arena
From Hoopedia
The Anaheim Convention Center Arena is located across from the Disneyland Resort on Katella Avenue. Much of the Convention Center has been renovated in recent years with state-of-the-art facilities.
The 7,500-seat facility was built in 1967 and was formerly home to the Anaheim Amigos of the American Basketball Association (ABA) during the league’s inaugural 1967-68 season. The Amigos moved to L.A. the following year and later to Salt Lake City until disbanding early in the 1975-76 season, the league’s last prior to merger with the NBA.
The Center also served as the venue for men’s wrestling during the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, and it has hosted the Big West Conference men’s basketball tournament many times since 1977.
The Arsenal practice facility is inside the American Sports Centers (ASC) on nearby Anaheim Boulevard, across the street from team offices on Cerritos Avenue. At 150,000 square feet, ASC is the largest indoor sports court complex in the world and is also home to the U.S. National Men’s Volleyball team.
