Andre Brown

Andre D. Brown (born May 12, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player. A power forward-center, he currently plays for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. He attended DePaul University in Chicago.
Brown was a member of the Atlanta Hawks for almost a month, but prior to the 2006-07 NBA season he was cut from the training camp roster.
Brown was selected with the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA D-League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce and was named D-League Performer of the Week for December 18, 2006.
He played with the San Antonio Spurs during the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City, top scoring for the team with 13 points in the fourth game.
During 2005 and 2006, Brown played professionally in Seoul, South Korea for the Daegu Orions of the Korean Basketball League.
