Ansu Sesay

Ansu Martin Sesay (born July 29, 1976 in Greensboro, North Carolina) is an American professional basketball player, formerly in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
High School and College Career
Sesay attended Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas. He led his team to the school's first state title in basketball. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1998. He averaged 13 points per game on 42% field goal shooting.
NBA
He was selected 30th overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1998 NBA Draft. He has been traded by the Mavericks to Detroit Pistons with Dana Barros for Loy Vaught in 2000. He then signed for a brief period with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2001, but he has not played in the NBA for any of those teams. He went on to play for the Seattle SuperSonics (2001-04) and the Golden State Warriors (2004-05). He has played 127 regular season NBA games with averages of 10.2 MPG, 3.2 PPG and 1.8 RPG. He has also played in 4 playoff games for the Sonics.
International Experience
Beginning with the 2007-08 season, he will play for the Italian league club Armani Jeans Milano. Previously, he was also with other Italian teams: Montepaschi Siena (was under contract for 1 day in 2001, did not play in any games), Sedima Roseto (Jan-Jun 2005), Carpisa Napoli a.k.a. Eldo Napoli (2005-2007).
Sesay also played in the Philippine Basketball Association for the Sta. Lucia Realtors.
Sesay has a son, Kaden Sesay and a wife Tonya Sesay.
