Arthur Ehrat

Arthur Ehrat invented the "Deformation-preventing swingable mount for basketball goals," commonly called a breakaway goal. Mr. Ehrat called it "The Rebounder." In 1982 he was issued United States Patent No. 4,365,802 for it.
