Brian Anthony Beshara Feghali (born 30 December 1977), a.k.a. Brian Beshara or Brian Beshara Feghali is a Lebanese basketball player from Dallas, TX, and a member of the Lebanese national basketball team. At 6'8", he is Lebanon's starting forward and plays an important role on both the offensive and defensive sides. He is known for his decisive cuts to the hoop and his well timed three pointers as well as ability to grab rebounds and steal the ball. Sometimes he is criticized for his bad temper and tends to be penalized for it. His former LSU coach John Brady describes him as follows:"Brian Beshara is a good basketball player. He's tough. College and Club BasketBall

Brian Beshara Feghali played at college level in the 1st division of the NCAA with the LSU Tigers.
After his career at LSU, Brian Beshara opted to play basketball in Lebanon. In 2001, he joined Lebanese Champions and Arab and Asian Club Champions La Sagesse (Hekmeh), where he teamed up with local stars such as Fadi El-Khatib and Elie Mchantaf and played under National Coach Ghassan Sarkis.
Following a two year spell at La Sagesse, Beshara left for new comers Blue Stars and played for a couple of years, however not proving his full qualities due to injuries.
After Blue Stars, Beshara rejoined his former coach Ghassan Sarkis, for the 2005/2006 season, in his new team Champville, where he was assigned as team Captain. Following a disagreement with the club's management, Beshara left Champville and found himself without a team for the 2006/2007 season, as Champville refused to free him from his contract and let him join league champions Al Riyadi.

National Team Basketball

Brian Beshara is an important asset for Lebanese national basketball team. He played part in the qualification to both the 2002 and 2006 world championships in Indianapolis and Japan respectively.

One of the highest achievements realized by the Lebanese national basketball team was the victory 74-73 against the French national basketball team on August 23rd, 2006 during the 2006 World Championships in Sendai and in front of around 2800 spectators<ref>http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/06_wcm/scheResu/p/eventid/3507/gamename/12/groupname/A/langlc/en/roundid/4742/fe_scheStat_boxScor.html</ref>.
