Dupree, along with current Bulls guard Ben Gordon and former Bulls star Scottie Pippen, participated in the Shooting Stars competition at the 2007 All-Star Game Weekend in Las Vegas. The competition has teams from select cities to compete with one current NBA player, a former NBA player, and an WNBA player. This is the first year for "Team Chicago" because the WNBA representative, the Chicago Sky will be in its second season.

Team Chicago (48.8) and Team Detroit (1:06) advanced to final round. Due to Ben Gordon shooting out of order before Candice Dupree, Detroit won by default.
