Darrell Griffith

Darrell Steven Griffith, also known by nickname Dr. Dunkenstein, (born June 16, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky) is a former NBA basketball player who spent his entire career with the Utah Jazz.
Griffith, the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1981, played for the Jazz for 11 seasons and ultimately had his number 35 retired by the team on December 4, 1993. He was nicknamed Dr. Dunkenstein for aerial exploits and was often referred to as "The Golden Griff" by Jazz play-by-play announcer Hot Rod Hundley.
He led the University of Louisville to the 1980 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship by scoring 23 points in the Cardinals' 59-54 win over UCLA.
