Detroit Falcons

The Detroit Falcons were a Basketball Association of America (the forerunner of the modern National Basketball Association) team based in Detroit, Michigan. The franchise played only one season, 1946-47.

The Rebels were an inaugural franchise in the BAA's first season. The team went 20-40, finishing fourth in the Western Division. They did not qualify for the playoffs, in their only season before going out of business.
