Dorell Wright

Dorell Lawrence Wright (born December 2, 1985 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional basketball player with the Miami Heat in the NBA.
Wright was selected 19th overall in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Heat, and averaged 2.3 points per game in three games played during his rookie season. He entered the NBA directly out of high school and in 2006 won his first NBA championship with the Heat.
Over the 2005 summer, Dorell Wright participated in the Miami Heat's Summer League, which took place in Long Beach, California. Wright made a 30 point (on 12-22 shooting), five rebound effort against the Orlando Magic.
During the Heat's 2006 championship postseason, Dorell Wright had a strong Summer League showing. Pat Riley told Dorell Wright that he can imagine the Heat's future being led by Dwyane Wade and Dorell.
