Elaine Powell

Elaine Powell (born August 9, 1975) is a professional basketball player in the WNBA. The Louisiana State University alum was the final overall pick of the 1999 WNBA Draft and was drafted by the Orlando Miracle. Powell had previously played in the American Basketball League for the Portland Power. In the 2006 WNBA Expansion Draft Powell was taken from the Detroit Shock by the Chicago Sky, but would return to Detroit the following year.
