Ursuline Raiders

Delle Donne is the anchor on the 2005-06 Ursuline Academy Raiders squad. Ursuline played in the Nike Tournament of Champions in late December 2005, and had an impressive showing with a 3-1 record; their only loss was to Tina Charles and her undefeated Christ the King (Queens, NY) squad.

The Raiders won the Diamond State Classic just a week later, beating Khadijah Rushdan and the St. Elizabeth's Vikings. The St. Elizabeth vs. Ursuline game is popular in Wilmington, as the cross-city and Catholic League rivals compete, and Khadijah Rushdan's and Elena Delle Donne's abilities are showcased.

In the 2007 state championship game, however, Delle Donne was shut down and Rushdan stole the show, leading the vikings to the championship.

Fencor AAU

Delle Donne also plays on an AAU team, Fencor, in the offseason, which won the 2005 AAU Girls 15U National Championship.

University of Connecticut

She has accepted an offer of a basketball scholarship from the University of Connecticut and plans to enroll for the 2008-09 school year.
