FIBA Africa Championship for Women

The FIBA Africa Championship for Women (alternatively the FIBA African Championship for Women, or African Championship for Women) is the women's basketball continental championship of Africa, played biennially under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA), the basketball sport governing body, and FIBA Africa, the governing body for the African zone. The tournament also serves to qualify teams for participation in the quadrennial FIBA World Championship for Women.
