FIBA Americas

The FIBA Americas (or Pan-American Basketball Confederation), is a non-profit organization that represents the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), in the American continents, with jurisdiction from Canada to Argentina. It was founded on October 11, 1975 in Mexico City. Mr. Julio Subero (Dominican Republic) is the President of FIBA Americas. The secretariat general is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico and it is directed by Mr. Alberto Garcia, Secretary General.

Zones
FIBA America is divided into three zones.
1. Northern
2. Central America and the Caribbean
This zone is divided in two organizations: Caribbean and Central America, these, in turn, constitute the Central American and Caribbean Confederations of Basketball (CONCECABA).
