Fort Wayne Mad Ants

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants begin play in Fall 2007 as an expansion team of the NBA Development League. Fort Wayne will be affiliated with the Detroit Pistons, thus re-establishing the historic connection: Detroit started out in 1941 as the Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons in the old National Basketball League.

They will play their home games in the historic Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, the home of the Fort Wayne Pistons until 1957.
