Glen Jacobs

Glen Jacobs is a professional wrestler and entertainer so well-known by his stage name Kane. Jacobs played college basketball at Quincy University, an NCAA Division II school, before moving on to a wrestling career.
College
Jacobs attended Quincy University in Illinois, where he played basketball, before attending Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University) on a basketball scholarship. In the 1988-89 season, he was an NCAA all-star; he is still listed in the Truman State University media guide as holding the record for highest field goal percentage for a single season (.621 in both the 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons) and is the career leader in field goal percentage (.567). Jacobs also led the 1988-89 team in several categories, including blocked shots (1.0 per game) and rebounds per game (6.9 per game).
However, despite his success, Jacobs opted to switch to playing on the college football team. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and then did some junior high substitute teaching in the St. Louis area. "After doing that, teachers have my respect; that's a pretty tough profession... So if I wasn't wrestling, I don't think I'd be teaching.
Pro Wrestler
He began his professional wrestling career in some bit roles before being repackaged as Kane, half-brother of the Undertaker in a storyline. Jacobs wore a mask when he began the role and later on in his career he went without the mask.
Personal
Jacobs was married to Maurisa, who he married in 1995, and he has two stepdaughters. Jacobs and Maurisa are now divorced. Jacobs is now married to Natasha, a make up artist, and they have two children together.
He is an active member of the Libertarian party, having endorsed both Bob Smither and Barry Hess. He has also openly endorsed Republican Presidential Candidate Ron Paul for President.
