Biography
The And 1 contest winner of 2003, the Professor attended high school at McNary High School (1998-2001), and graduated from Salem Academy (2002 where he was named first team All-Conference and first team All-State (both in 2001-02 senior season). He attended college at Chemeketa Junior College in 2002-03. He earned his street name from the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour MC and renowned Rucker Park legend, Duke Tango, who said he was "schooling people" on the court.
He joined the Mix Tape Tour and is now in his third year as a member of the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour. He won his endorsement contract after battling it out on ESPN's Street Ball. He had planned to mow lawns and bag groceries all of that summer, but instead found his way to becoming the next playground legend and earning a spot on the Tour. He was picked up in Portland during the Open Run, which was the second city on the 2003 tour. He played in his first game in Phoenix, as one of the contestants on the ESPN show StreetBall: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour, then competed through the end of the summer. He hit game winning shots in Jackson and NYC at Madison Square Garden and was eventually selected by the AND 1 Mix Tape players as the next streetball legend and received an AND 1 endorsement deal to join the 2004 team.
