Guangsha Lions

Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (浙江广厦建设) or Guangsha Lions or Zhejiang Lions are a basketball team in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. They play their home games in Hangzhou Stadium.

In 2005-06 the Lions won the Chinese Basketball League (a second-division league) championship. As a result, they were promoted to the CBA beginning with the 2006-07 season. They finished in 14th place in their first season in the CBA.

They did not improve in 2006-07, finishing with a record of 6-24 and failing to make the playoffs. In 2007-08 the Lions improved to 15-15 and made the CBA playoffs for the first time. They lost their first round match three games to none.
