From Hoopedia
Herbert Hill (born October 1, 1984, in Kinston, NC. ]]) is an American college basketball player that recently ended his career at Providence College. He stands 6'10" and weighs in at 240 pounds. After coming seemingly out of nowhere after 3 very sub-par seasons for the Providence College Friars, Hill was drafted in the second round, 55th overall, by the Utah Jazz in the 2007 NBA Draft. Hill was then traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. This was due to the fact that he averaged 18.1 ppg and 8.8 rpg his senior year, and is currently ranked as the 7th overall college basketball prospect by www.cbs.sportsline.com. In 2007, Herb became only the third Friar to lead the Big East Conference in scoring. Eric Murdock 91' and Ryan Gomes 05' are the other two.
