Men's Basketball

Howard's basketball history can be traced back to the 12th Street YMCA team, the Colored Basketball World's Champions in 1909-10. The YMCA team consisted mainly of Howard students, who began playing as the Howard team in 1910, and repeated as world's champions. Howard was named co-champion again in 1912-13.
