Jarron Collins

Jarron Collins (born December 2, 1978 in Northridge, California) is a professional American basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association.
Collins is a notable graduate of Harvard-Westlake School and Stanford University. A two time All American, Collins finished his Stanford career #9 in school history with 706 rebounds, and #8 all time in blocks (68).

- Twin brother Jason Collins also plays in the NBA for the New Jersey Nets.
- Shooting 72 percent from the floor, Jarron averaged 20.2 points and 14.1 rebounds during his senior year in high school, breaking the 31-year state rebounding record with over 1,500. This record was later broken by fellow Harvard-Westlake School and University of North Carolina forward Alex Stepheson in 2006.
- Jarron and Jason Collins (along with Earl Watson) were the guests at the ill-fated recruiting dinner that led to the firing of Jim Harrick at UCLA.
- Instead of playing in the playoffs on Mother's day, Jarron and Jason spent time with their mom.
