Jeremy Richardson

Jeremy Terrell Richardson (born February 11, 1983 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball who has played for the NBA's Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers.

Collegiate career

Prior to entering the NBA, he attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Delta State University, both in Mississippi.

NBA career

Richardson was selected with the ninth pick of the second round in the 2006 NBA Development League Draft by the Fort Worth Flyers. On January 27 2007, he was signed to a ten-day contract by the Atlanta Hawks. Previously playing for the Flyers, it was the seventh call-up from the D-League during the 2006-07 season.<ref>Hawks Sign Flyers Richardson to 10-Day Contract</ref> After his second 10-day contract<ref>Hawks Sign Jeremy Richardson To Second 10-Day </ref> expired, the Hawks decided not to retain him.

In March 2007, he was signed to a 10-day contract by the Portland Trail Blazers. Trail Blazers sign Jeremy Richardson to 10-Day contract] At the end of the contract, the Blazers cut him; he played in one game for them. Blazers rout Golden State], March 12, 2007 Richardson returned to the Flyers afterwards.

Richardson was selected in the second round of the 2007 D-League expansion draft by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
