Joey Graham
From Hoopedia
Joseph (Joey) Graham (born June 11, 1982 in Wilmington, Delaware) is an American professional basketball player currently with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. After a stellar senior year at Oklahoma State University in which he showed incredible athleticism and the ability to take control of a game while playing for the Cowboys, he was selected 16th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors.
Much anticipation was heaped upon him as he was chosen with one of the two first round picks acquired from the much maligned Vince Carter who was traded to the New Jersey Nets during the 2004-05 season. Joey started his rookie season as a Raptors starter, playing as small forward and was given difficult tasks such as guarding much more experienced players such as Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Tayshaun Prince, and LeBron James. After five games, he was moved out of the starting lineup and replaced by the 5-year Raptors veteran, Morris Peterson. For his entire rookie season, Graham averaged 6.5 points per game.
Joey Graham has a fraternal twin brother, Stephen of the NBA's Indiana Pacers, who has been his long-time rival and has previously played for the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Portland Trail Blazers.
Joey and Stephen attended Brandon High school, and attended Central Florida for their first two years of college. Later, they transferred to OSU.
On October 29, 2007 The Raptors extended Graham's contract which runs through 2008–09.
