Kevin Ollie

Kevin Jermaine Ollie (born December 27, 1972, in Dallas, Texas) is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers.

Prior to his professional career, Ollie starred at the University of Connecticut. After his college playing days were over, he joined the Connecticut Pride of the Continental Basketball Association. After that, he has spent 7 years in the NBA with 10 different teams. He attended Palms Middle School for middle school in Los Angeles, California. He played basketball at Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles. Currently has a home in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

In the 2005-2006 season, Ollie was given a starting role by Sixers head coach Maurice Cheeks.

  • Started 23 of the first 30 games in 2006-07… that tied his career-high for starts in a single season set in 2005-06.
  • Since the start of 2003-04, has shot 82.8% from the line.
  • Would have ranked 17th in assist to turnover ratio (2.77) in 2006-07 if he qualified.
