Liaoning Hunters

Liaoning Panpan Hunters (辽宁盼盼猎人) or Liaoning Hunters or Liaoning Panpan are a basketball team in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), based in Yingkou, Liaoning.
Its corporate sponsor is presumably Liaoning Panpan Group Co., Ltd. (辽宁盼盼集团有限公司), a manufacturer of theft-proof doors.
In the 2004–05 season, the Liaoning Hunters finished in first place in the North Division, but lost in the quarter-finals to the South Division's Yunnan Bulls.
The Hunters had their best season ever in 2007-08, as they fought their way to the CBA Championship series, defeating arch-rival Bayi Rockets 3 games to 1 in the first round, then beating Jiangsu Dragons in the semifinal series 3-1. They had to settle for the league runner-up spot, however, after falling to the mighty Guangdong Southern Tigers, 4-1.
