Lyle Harger

Lyle Edwin Harger played basketball for the University of Houston under coach Guy Lewis. He led the NCAA in field goal percentage in 1963 shooting 65.6% from the field. He was selected at No. 26 overall in the 1963 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, but declined to play for the Lakers, choosing instead a career in sales at IBM.
