MVP, or Most Valuable Player, is an award that is given to the player that contributes the most to their team, helping to make their team and the players on their team better. Some examples of NBA players who have won that league's MVP award are Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Steve Nash. The NBA star who has won the most MVP awards Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
