Marc Gasol

Marc Gasol Sáez (born January 29, 1985) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Akasvayu Girona. He was drafted in the second round, 48th overall, by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA Draft. He stands 7 ft 1 in (2.16 m) and is the younger brother of NBA player Pau Gasol.His draft rights were traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in a deal that coincidentally sent his brother Pau to the Grizzlies

Gasol played high school basketball for the Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee, and was part of the Spanish team which won the FIBA World Championship in 2006.
