Maurice "Wilky" Gilmore was an American basketball player. He played for the University of Colorado, 1958-62. He was drafted by the St. Louis Hawks in the 14th round of the 1962 NBA Draft, but he never played in the NBA because of injury.

From a 2003 interview with Russell “Sox” Walseth, former head coach of the University of Colorado, Walseth said, "[H]e could play. If he hadn't hurt his knee, he would have been one of the big-time, all-time great players in the NBA. He really wrecked his knee. It was against Oklahoma."
