The NBA is one of the most popular U.S. based sports internationally and the first and professional sports league in the U.S. to offer international web destinations for fans. Among English-Language sports league Web sites NBA.com draws the greatest number of users from outside the United States with 53 percent of all traffic to the site.

The NBA was the first professional sports league in the U.S. to offer specific international Web destinations for fans.
  • More than 95% of all NBA marketing partners are activating on NBA.com, demonstrating how brands can tap into the league’s array of assets.
  • NBA.com unveiled NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband, providing all NBA LEAGUE Pass television subscribers with access to live video webcasts on NBA.com. The service marks the first time fans will have access to a full slate of live NBA games online. (Jan. 2006)
