NBA Board of Governors

The National Basketball Association (NBA) Board of Governors is the management body that oversees the operations of the National Basketball Association. Micky Arison, Managing General Partner of the Miami Heat, is Chairman of the NBA Board of Governors. He was elected to that post in October 2005.

The Board has several standing committees to assist in management, such as the Audit, Advisory/Finance, Labor Relations, Expansion, and Rules and Competition Committees.
