NBA Draft 1975 (Special)
From Hoopedia
On December 30, 1975 the National Basketball Association conducted a special draft to distribute the rights to American Basketball Association players who had never been drafted by NBA clubs. All of these players had been drafted and signed by ABA teams and their college classes had not yet graduated. The NBA teams were assuming that the ABA would not last much longer and these players would become available. The two leagues did indeed merge in 1976.
