Through a variety of partnerships with some of the world’s leading publishing houses, as well as an in-house custom publishing division, the NBA tells fans its story through books, magazines and other projects including the annual NBA Guide and Register, Hoop and Inside Stuff magazines, NBA Encyclopedia, and Basketball’s Best Shots, a compilation of the greatest photos in NBA history. The NBA annually releases four comic books throughout the season and four to six titles annually geared towards children including a new relationship with TokyoPop to distribute children's books in Cine-Manga format.
