Sports fans from around the globe know that their destination of choice is the NBA Store, located in New York City, which has become the ultimate basketball shopping experience since opening in September 1998. Beyond offering the world’s most comprehensive collection of NBA and WNBA merchandise, the NBA Store brings fans up close to their idols with regular in-store appearances by some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.

FEATURES:

  • 35,000 square feet of retail space covering two floors
  • A dramatic 170-foot-long arena-styled circular ramp connecting second level
  • Authentic half-court shooting area with regulation-size basketball hoop
  • A range of multimedia-driven attractions, including video games and an arena-sized Jumbotron video board (and other monitors throughout the store) showing exclusive NBA and WNBA footage and airing live game broadcasts and NBA TV – the league’s 24-hour television network
  • Averaging more than 1 million shoppers per year, the NBA Store is a major New York City attraction for visitors from all over the world like England, Japan, Italy, Spain, France, and Canada.

EVENTS:

  • As part of the NBA Store Concert Series, Center Court offers a stage for free performances from today’s hottest musical artists, including Destiny’s Child, Run DMC, Michelle Branch, the Go-Go’s, De La Soul, 3LW, Shaggy, among others.
  • The Store has hosted celebrity appearances from some of Hollywood’s brightest stars, like Cuba Gooding Jr. (“Radio”), Sarah Jessica Parker (“Sex in the City”), Frankie Muniz (“Agent Cody Banks”), Lil’ Bow Wow (“Like Mike”), Freddie Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard (“Scooby Doo”) who all visited the NBA Store to preview their upcoming films or TV shows.
  • Basketball fans of all ages can host a private, NBA-themed birthday party at the NBA Store, which comes complete with mock referees, a head coach, and sportscaster that will help guests celebrate. Guests can feast on a basketball birthday cake and leave with a personalized video from the event that includes birthday wishes from NBA and WNBA players. Celebrities including Julianne Moore and Vanessa Williams have hosted birthday parties for their children at the NBA Store.
  • The NBA Store can be tailored to accommodate any special event, including corporate functions and private shopping parities.

MERCHANDISE:

  • Merchandise consists of a variety of Reebok products, including authentic NBA jerseys and team gear for all 30 teams, as well as NBA-branded footwear and other Reebok apparel, an expanded assortment of products for young NBA fans, an exclusive line of NBA men’s wear featuring woven shirts, blazers and neckties, retro merchandise from the NBA Hardwood Classics Collection, women’s apparel from the nba4her Collection, a children’s collection from NBA Kids, headwear, accessories, authentic and retro jerseys that can be personalized, as well as collectibles, photography, artwork, books and electronic games.
  • The NBA Store also features a variety of exclusive products such as life-size LEGO figures of NBA players and customized NBA apparel that’s altered and/or embellished upon request, as well as interactive in-store attractions like life-size player bobbleheads and in-store deejays.
