Omri Casspi

Omri Casspi (Template:Lang-he, born June 22, 1988 in Yavne, Israel) is a professional Israeli basketball player currently playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv at the small forward position.

Casspi is said to be Israel's next best chance of seeing a native play in the NBA. While only playing ten minutes of the game, Casspi shot three field goals from three attempts, including a three point shot, for a total of eight points against the New York Knicks during a charity game on October 11, 2007 between Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Knicks.
