While the mens program has never won a championship, nor have they made it past the second round of the tournament, they did produce a number one draft pick in Michael Olowokandi,and have played in arguably one of the most exciting NCAA Tournament games in the past 15 years.

In 2006, Pacific played Boston College in a game that would result in the Eagles edging out the Tigers in a close double overtime victory.
