Partizan has one of the best basketball schools in Europe. In the past, many of Pastizan's players achieved world fame, such as Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member Drazen Dalipagic, former NBA players such as Vlade Divac, Peja Stojakovic and European legends Sasa Djordjevic, Predrag Danilovic, Zarko Paspalj, Dragan Kicanovic, and Zeljko Rebraca. Many others have played and won all that is to be won in Europe. Now, Partizan is still known for growing great youngsters, but financial constraints prevent the club from achieving greater notoriety. Younger players, once their skills are recognized, are lured away by bigger and richer clubs.
