Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
From Hoopedia
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) is a college athletic conference that participates in NCAA Division II. Organized in 1951, the PSAC was historically made up exclusively of public schools in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, but announced an expansion in 2007, to take effect in 2008, to include two private schools as full members and a third as an associate member. The conference was open to men's sports only until 1977 when women's sports were added. The PSAC is the second largest conference in NCAA Division II.
