Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (born August 19, 1989 in New Orleans, Louisiana), a.k.a. Romeo, Lil Romeo, Ro, is an American rapper, actor and basketball player. The son of former D-League player, rapper, producer and entertainment mogul Percy Miller Sr. a.k.a. Master P and nephew of C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker, he records teen-friendly hip-hop music on his father's Guttar Music label. He is best known by his stage name, Romeo, although his previous name was Lil' Romeo. He has so far released three studio albums and two compilation albums. His fifth album, God's Gift was released on December 12, 2006.

At the age of three, Romeo Miller first picked up a basketball and inherited his father's love and skill of the game. Since then Miller has regularly practiced and played basketball as part of teams and for fun - even revealing his basketball talent in a few of his music videos like "2 way", and on his TV show, Romeo!. More recently, Miller had developed his basketball skills against 200 of the nation's top high school players at the 2006 Reebok ABCD Camp.

On April 13, 2007, Miller verbally committed to the University of Southern California (USC). Miller, a 6'1" point guard at Beverly Hills High School, averaged 13.9 points and 5.6 assists per game during the 2006-2007 high school season. He will be joined by fellow recruit and good friend DeMar DeRozan, who is a recruit from Compton High School; both were coached by Miller's father Master P during the spring and summer months. Miller would need to give a signed commitment to become an official member of the 2008 USC Trojans basketball team.

Miller states that he will put his entertainment career (television, music, and film) on hold during college; though he plans to study at the renowned USC School of Cinematic Arts. Romeo will be paying his own tuition, so that the school will be able to use the athletic scholarship money towards another player.
