Quincy Lewis

Quincy Lavell Lewis (born June 26, 1977 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for CB Lucentum Alicante in Spain.
Lewis played collegiately for the University of Minnesota and was the Big Ten Conference's leading scorer during his senior year in college. In 1997 Lewis led the Golden Gophers to the NCAA Final Four. He was selected by the Utah Jazz in the 1st round (19th pick) of the 1999 NBA Draft. He played for the Jazz from 1999–2002.
Lewis moved to Israel in 2002 and was signed by Maccabi Tel Aviv winning the Israeli Championship and the Israeli national cup. His team also reached the finals of the Adriatic League. He was signed by the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2003-04 season, being waived in January 2004, and spending the remainder of that season with CB Lucentum Alicante in Spain.
In July 2005 he signed for the Greek club Olympiacos and helped the team reach the Euroleague quarter finals best-of-three series in which he lost to his former Israeli club in three games. That year Olympiacos also reached the Greek Playoff Finals series, only to lose to archrivals Panathinaicos in 3 games (best of 5 series). The following summer, he returned to his team in Alicante.
In 2007 Lewis announced that he will return to the University of Minnesota to earn a degree in Teaching.
