About the Player

The 27-year forward is coach Tim Cone’s trusted big man when it comes to doing the dirty works and guarding the best pivot players in the league. Hugnatan’s job most of the time is to limit the league’s best scoring big men and sometimes the imports of their rivals. He is s the team’s resident enforcer and primary post defender.

The 6′4 Bacolod City-born Hugnatan just missed one game last season, the semifinal match against San Miguel in the Philippine Cup because of a serious injury. He started in 28 games and posted averages of 6.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in 48 appearances.
