Ruthie Bolton

Alice Ruth Bolton (born on May 25, 1967 in Lucedale, Mississippi), better known as Ruthie Bolton and also by her former married name of Ruthie Bolton-Holifield, is a former collegiate, Olympic and professional basketball player. Bolton played in the WNBA from 1997 through 2004 with the Sacramento Monarchs. She played college basketball at Auburn University. Bolton has also served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves as a transportation officer.

Current Activities
After being released by the Monarchs' as an active player in 2005, she returned to the Monarchs to work in their front office, specializing in public relations.
Since 2004, she also has been serving as the Head Coach for the women's basketball team at William Jessup University, a California Pacific Conference school, in Rocklin, California]and dabbles in gospel singing.
She currently lives in Elk Grove, California.
