Tarence Kinsey (born March 21, 1984, in Tampa, Florida) is an American professional basketball player in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kinsey attended and played collegiately at the University of South Carolina where he helped lead the Gamecocks to two straight NIT championships; averaging 19.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.6 steals, and shooting 53% from the field in the NIT Tournament.
Tarence Kinsey averaged 7.7 points in 48 games during his rookie season with the Grizzlies. He showed promise as a starter, while averaging 18.8 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game in 12 games.
