Top 100 High School Basketball Camp
From Hoopedia
The Top 100 High School Basketball Camp was created 11 years ago by the NBA Players Association to assist the Top 100 High School Student Athletes in the development of their individual and life skills, both on and off the court. In 2007 the Camp will be held at the University of Virginia campus, June 19-24.
Each summer, 25 current and former NBA stars work or visit the camp to advise all campers on how they can make their basketball goals a reality by teaching NBA moves and training techniques. The Top 100 Camp utilizes experts in a variety of fields to help lay a solid foundation for success both on and off the court.
In addition to on court education, presentations and mentoring, the Top 100 Camp has designed a special program to help parents and guardians in assisting their son’s career. Daily seminars focus on recruiting issues, peer pressure, nutrition, S.A.T. preparation, NCAA rules, goal setting and stress management.
The NBA Players Association offers a unique game plan for all campers who dream of one day becoming an NBA player.
