United Sons and Daughters

In 2007, Troy Bradford formed his own 501(c)3 non-profit AAU program called United Sons and Daughters. The concept of the program is simple; to use basketball as a platform to bring young men and women of different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures together to instill the principles (teamwork, respect, sacrifice, responsibility, discipline, work ethic and self-esteem)that young kids need to become successful in the game of life. The program is in it's beginning stages but hopes to organize basketball clinics and after school programs featuring a girls group focused on teen pregancy. Other programs will focus on drugs, alcohol and career building. Troy believes the program will help to end racism.
