I am Nijeria Montana Carter. I was born August 28, 1993 in Hammond, Indiana. I was raised mostly in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been playing basketball since I was 2 years old. I never played on a league team, until I started in high school. I play for Riverwood High School. The college teams I would like to play for are either University of Tennessee or University of North Carolina. I would like to play for Tennessee because they have a great coach that I think is really good, Coach Pat Summit. Most of my favorite players have played for that team. Some WNBA teams would like to play for are Indiana Fever, Los Angeles Sparkes, Atlanta Dream, Chicago Sky, or Detroit Shock. Indiana is my hometown so I would want to play for my hometeam. Atlanta is a team I always wanted to see in the WNBA league. Chicago and Detroit are two of my favorite teams and Chicago has my #1 favorite player Candice Dupree. Los Angeles has some of my favorite players like Candace Parker, Lisa Leslie, and Shannon Bobbitt. Candace Parker and Candice Dupree are two players that inspire me. Also Shannon Bobbitt also inspires me. Shannon Bobbitt is only 5'2" and I am 5'0". I think that players that are short can play with anyone not around their height.
