Walter "Walt" Budko Jr. (born July 30, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York) is a retired American basketball player.

He played collegiately for the Columbia University.

Budko was selected by the Baltimore Bullets in the 1st round (6th pick overall) of the 1948 NBA Draft. He played for the Bullets (1948-51) and Philadelphia Warriors (1951-52) in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) and NBA for 253 games.

He coached the Bullets in the NBA (1950-51).

Walt Budko is a member of the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame.
