Waseem Limbada (born February 5, 1997, in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a basketball player who currently plays for the Texas Wildcats of the PSA.

Early Years

Born in South Africa, he moved to Dallas, Texas at 5 months old. His father played competitive soccer during his years and his mom ran track during her high school years. Waseem started playing soccer and basketball at age 5. Competitively he liked basketball more, but he still played soccer, because it helped him with speed and endurance in basketball as well. Recently he passed age 10, where looks forward to making the middle school team. His basketball idol is Chauncey Billups.

Playing Style

Being a 5 ft point guard, Waseem is able to tower over other guards, making him able to see clear floor to find an open team mate. Not only can he run the ball as well as make flashy passes, he can hit shots if you give him the room. Similar to "Mr. Big Shot" Chauncey Billups. Although he has the height to post smaller defenders he doesn't use that to his advantage, this can be his room for improvement to come.
